Livea is Co-Owner and Performing Arts Director at Triple Heat Dance – Academy of Performing Arts in Courtenay BC. Triple Heat Dance is in its 13th season providing quality dance instruction for students as young as 1.5 years to as old as 70+ years offering recreational to pre-
professional programs Livea has been a choreographer and dance educator for over 25 years, with many of her teaching hours spent working with the Intensive Training Program dancers at her studio. Music and choreography have been the driving force and passion for Livea from a very early age.  Her love, appreciation and respect for dance and performance art encompasses many forms of expression from jazz, contemporary, improvisation, lyrical, street dance and musical theatre.

She strives for excellence in storytelling, clean technique, strength of movement, passion, and most importantly artistry within her work. Livea is well known for her innovative and unique choreography, with her work receiving many accolades and awards. Livea was honored to hold the role of Artistic Director to True Colours Youth Company of Performing Arts for 6 seasons and was choreographer for CYMC’s 2019’s production of RENT. Livea combines her extreme passion for dance and music with her positive energy and creative flare to design work that is
always challenging and inspiring – seeking to share her expertise and love of dance and movement with others.
