With a BMus (UVic ’84) and an MEd (UVic ’91), Paul has been teaching in the beautiful Comox Valley since 1991, following four years in Quesnel. Over his 34-year career in music, he has instructed thousands of students from Kindergarten to Grade 12, and countless adults in various community groups. Many of his students have pursued professional careers in music, and he is honored to have worked with classical musicians who now travel internationally as sought-after soloists.

Paul is deeply involved in the music community, serving as the Choral Conductor for the CYMC Festival Choir. In addition, he is the Director of Music Ministries at Comox United, a music teacher at École Puntledge Park Elementary, and the Artistic Director of the North Island Choral Society, a position he has held since 1995.
